I like programming in C, I’m weird that way. It certainly gives you enough rope to hang yourself with if you’re not careful, but at the same time it’s flexible enough to do some really elegant bits of hackery.

I read this book about a month ago and today I am reviewing the notes I took. Although this text was published 6 years ago, the first section upon the Drivers of Business Change provides a very discussion upon the commercial pressures organsiations are exposed to which are very relevant to my day job!

AV Setup at Home
Bought myself a DVI-HDMI lead yesterday in Reigate to allow me to hook-up my MacBook Pro to my new Telly. With audio from my sound sticks, it made for a good^H^H great* viewing experience! (*) Good to Great is an improvement theme being run by my employer. My copy of the Good to Great book arrived today from amazon. Review will be posted shortly.

yesterday* I took the opportunity to watch the Krzysztof Kieslowski’s three colours trilogy. I managed to follow Blue and White with little problem, but Red requires another viewing! (*) one of the benefits of being a permanent member of staff is that you have paid sick leave.
